PHILIPPINES MISSION TRIP 2002

A group of 20 people from New Hope Family Worship Center went to the Islands of Philippines for an 11-day mission trip with the Book of Hope. We left early morning (2am) on Thursday, July 5th on a red-eye flight to Cebu, Philippines with a stopover in Hong Kong. We arrived on in Cebu on Saturday (lost a day from crossing the International Dateline) at around 2pm. Here are some of the pictures from that trip.

We ministered in schools, at churches and youth rallies. We went to 25 schools, ministered in three churches, ministered in 5 youth rallies and was at a Youth Cafe. In all this, the team distributed 30,700 books.

After eight days of intense work from 6am to 9-10pm each day, we were able to "R&R" in Hong Kong for 48 hours.
